Barre Fitness is a uniquely fun way to workout. Drawing upon the art of Ballet, this conditioning class will strengthen and lengthen building you a body of lean resiliency! These one hour classes are set to some upbeat tunes...we typically begin with a warmup of dynamic movement, followed by some upper body conditioning with weights, then barre exercises to tone legs and core (we use a chair for Zoom classes) and some awesome pilates style floor work and a stretch towards the end. Ask questions if you're curious!

Driven to be the best movement coach she can in order to help others enjoy active and healthy lives, Sarah is undergoing her BA in Kinesiology at VIU. Sarah has actively taught Yoga since 2006 and holds multiple certifications. She has been teaching Barre fitness since 2017 and is completing her certificate for both mat and reformer Pilates.

Her personal healing through movement and bodywork has enriched her life deeply, both physically and emotionally, and it motivates her to share what she’s learned to assist others in finding their own balance in life. In 2009, Sarah began integrating hands on bodywork after completing a certification through Thai Massage. She has since developed a steady practice and has continued to study and apply a variety of manual therapies in her work.
